Over the course of 10+ years, I worked pretty consistently for the Pia Agency (now part of Accenture Song). Most of my work was for the tech bigs (HP, HPE, Intel et al) and much of that involved writing and directing video stories (about product and service innovations) that were used across media platforms.

I wrote, co-produced and co-directed this video for the agency’s rebrand from Millennium Creative to the Pia Agency. It helped us get a succession of new business wins and led to HP choosing us as their global video AOR. (That’s also me on the voiceover.)

I wrote and co-directed this for HP’s annual investor press gathering to showcase the microfluidic processing technology that HP pioneered in the 50s. (hweelhaus.)

In 2017 I co-founded a little video shop (I) named hweelhaus. (With an editor and producer I met at the Pia Agency.) In addition to lots of HP work, the editor and I created the following pieces pro bono for a couple of organizations I was enthusiastic about at the time. (It was also an exploration of how a video concept and script might be presented to convey feeling and find message affirmation and budget approval from the client before the hard and expensive work of producing it took place.)

 

A concept and script for SALT, a blockchain startup that didn’t last long enough to actually see this piece.

I parted ways with hweelhaus early in 2019 but, as far as I know, that ship still flies.
